Waddington Jewelers & Engraving opened February 1st, 2005. Since then Ben & Jen Waddington have been running the store with just the two of them. The benefit is every time you come in, You will be greeted by one of their friendly faces. 

Jen Studied abroad for a year completing a Gemology course at the Gemological Orientation & Development Society of Pune, (India) in 1998. Upon returning she attended the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in Carlsbad California. She graduated as a Graduate Jeweler Gemologist in 2002. She also is certified in Advanced Stone Setting, Jewelry Design, Counter Sketching, Pearl & Bead Stringing, Graduate Diamonds, and Graduate Colored Stones.

After Graduation, Jen Moved back home to Akron, Ohio setting stones for a manufacturer of finished jewelry. She soon moved to Bowling Green working for R Howard fine jewelers. During her two years of employment she gained on the job experience that has helped give her the confidence to open Waddington Jewelers & Engraving after the former owner retired in December 2004.

Ben Waddington is a graduate of Bowling Green State University. He Graduated with BFA in digital art with an emphasis in 3-D animation. Currently he designs most of their advertisements and maintains their website. In early 2009, Ben completed training for a Computer Assisted Design (CAD) program. Waddington Jewelers can now offer Custom designs built in 3-D.
